What a great way to end 2010!
Nothing like a 300+ guest wedding and a 10+ hour day photographing!
I had a blast- and Miriam and Manuel were awesome!
And it was also great to see some of my brides from past weddings that I photographed!

So we got to thinking…… who more deserves something like this- than a newly young couple whom are sacrificing their lives for the country I LOVE???????
It’s my honor to be documenting Elizabeth & Ryans wedding this Month.
As I suspect is the norm for many military families- deployments changed and they have had to move their wedding up to this November from March 2011. Everyone has been able to work with this change and their wedding day is going to be AMAZING!!!!
I wanted to share a small part of a wonderful letter Ryan wrote to Liz, which she shared with me about their relationship.
“I feel as though I have met and now love the woman who will complete, challenge, care for, support and love my life so that I will never feel alone again. I take that love with me and hope that you will feel that you have my heart and I, yours. Know that I will guard it with my life and never give up.”

What a beautiful day in Long Beach! I don’t normally travel to far from home for engagement sessions- but when I met with Miriam and Manuel we clicked! I knew they would be a wonderful client to have. Not to mention I have photographed some of their friends and family too!
Long Beach harbor area was beautiful- Manuel said it perfectly- its a great place for them both to escape and relax! I can see why!
I’m looking forward to a trip back there soon to take my kids to the aquarium!
